2025 Common Ground Alliance Annual Forum
"Conversations That Strengthen Community"
The Common Ground Alliance Annual Forum is back! Every year, neighbors, local officials, nonprofit partners, and community builders from across the Adirondacks come together to talk about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
This year’s theme takes CGA back to its roots.
“Conversations That Strengthen Community,” asks a simple question: How can we communicate across differences to make real progress on the challenges that affect our region?
Over the course of the day, participants will take part in facilitated conversations, hear local success stories, and help identify shared priorities for the year ahead. It’s a chance to connect with others who care deeply about the Adirondacks and to leave with new ideas, tools, and relationships that make our communities stronger.

What is the Common Ground Annual Forum?
Each year the Common Ground Alliance holds a Common Ground Forum attracting hundreds of participants who work as equals to identify and resolve issues of common concern. The result is a focused, annual action plan called Blueprint for the Blue Line, developed from the discussions at the Forum.
The blueprint is a set of recommendations for state Legislators and agencies to improve park management and the quality of life for residents and visitors. Participating organizations and local government leaders then use the blueprint to guide their interactions with state Legislators and the Governor.
